Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB is carrying on a centuries-old craft, by shaping loose wool from Swedish sheep into mattresses. The opportunity to offer mattresses and home interior items using nature’s own high-tech materials arose when the founder trained as a mattress maker in France.

Swedish Wool Mattress Company AB sees itself as an enabler of innovative thinking and design with natural materials based on the knowledge of how wool can be shaped into a finished product.

Working together with VERK, Ullkontoret and Nordifa, the company has produced the cushion pads for the V.001 sofa. Swedish wool, inside and out.
